College Challenge 2002 New England College Fall League
Updated Monday, September 02, 2002 6:26:36 PM ET After a one year absence, the Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance is happy to again offer the New England College Fall League. The basis behind the Fall League is to encourage all college teams to play as many games as they can and help improve the level of play in New England. It's a great way to get your rookies much needed playing time before you start the real games during the Spring season. The league will run from September 1st through December 1st. How will winners be determined? The results of all the games will be recorded on the BUDA website (http://www.buda.org/college/). All games that are played against other teams in the entire league, say at some club/college tournament or just a single game against another team, will be recorded. Teams are responsible for recording the games. Trophies will be given to the winners of each overall division: Open, Women's, and Mixed. We'll determine the winners by means of BUDA power rankings. We know it's not the best way, but hey this is the Fall and this is meant to be more to be fun and to facilitate teams playing more games in the fall. Note: If you have any thoughts or suggestions regarding the "league" please send us a note. Note: Games played at the New England Fall College Challenge will also count toward the Fall College League. |
