Directions to fields:

Hoyt Field, Cambridge

Simple, Easy to Follow

From Central Square Red Line T-Stop:
Take Western Ave towards the river .3 miles, turn left onto Gilmore or Montague streets

From Mass Pike or Storrow Drive or Memorial Drive:
Take River Street (one way) towards Central Square
Left onto Howard Street
Left onto Western Ave
Left onto Gilmore or Montague

OR
Take River Street (one way) towards Central Square
Left onto Putnam Right onto Ballord Place (just before Western Ave)

More complex, but more detailed

Even though it's right between major streets in Cambridge (Western and River), beware, you can't see if from those streets. The easiest way to get there -- from Memorial Drive, turn east onto River St (left turn if you're coming from Harvard and the burbs, right turn if you're coming from MIT/Boston). Going East on River St., take your 2nd left onto Putnam. Then, take your next right onto a tiny street, which will take you to the park.

Alternatively, if you're coming from Mass Ave, head South on Prospect (towards the River). Stay towards the right on Prospect, which will become Western Ave. Go 7 or so blocks on Western, past Jay St. and Howard St. At the next small street, Gillmore or Bancroft, go left. That will take you to the park. If you miss these streets and hit Putman, go left and take your first left to get to the park. If you hit Memorial Drive, you've gone too far.

Ebersol Field, Esplanade

MBTA:
Green Line to Science Park station. Cross street and walk to the left along Storrow Drive with the river to your right. Fields are on right.

Red Line to MGH/Charles Street station. Cross footbridge over Storrow Drive toward river. At end of bridge, walk with river on your left. Fields are approximately 50 yards from footbridge.

Driving:
Parking is extremely limited at Teddy Ebersol's Red Sox Fields. Please use public transportation. If you must drive, your best option is to find metered park along the side streets near 1st/2nd street in Cambridge and walk across the Longfellow bridge on the right side. At the end of the bridge, exit to the right, then walk along with river on your left. Fields are approximately 50 yards from footbridge.(Direction details)

Lexington High School

By car from Boston/Cambridge:
Take Route 2 west to Waltham st exit.
Right at end of ramp on to Waltham St.
Go straight through route 2A intersection.
Take next left on to Worthen Rd. Fields are on the right.

By car from 128:
Take Rt 2 east to Spring St.
Right at end of ramp.
Right to cross over Rt 2.
Right on Hayden.
At T, make left on to Waltham St.
Follow directions above.

By bus from Alewife in Cambridge to Lexington Center:
Bus #62 (Bedford/VA) or #76 (Hanscom AFB).
Exit in front of CVS or Starbucks.
Cross Mass Ave
and take Waltham st. 1/2 mile to a right onto Worthen Rd.
The fields are on the right.

Lexington HS field is actually two fields, a baseball field and a softball field. When BUDA rents both, then we make our fields run parallel to Worthen Rd. Field #1 is then closest to Worthen Rd. Field #2 is closest to the playground and track.

If only one set of lights are on then we typically will have to run our field perpendicular to Worthen Rd.
