Massachusetts Elementary School Ultimate Teams and Scheduling

BUDA does not run a formal league for elementary school teams. We maintain a list of contacts to allow teams to schedule games. We hope to build enough interest to form an elementary ultimate league similar to the one in Seattle. They play league games on Saturdays in the spring and fall. Teams sign up by school.

BUDA will run free ultimate clinics for elementary schools. Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

About two dozen kids on Monday afternoons. Half are beginners.  Interested in inviting interested students from some or all of the other elementary schools in Brookline (there are 8 in all), and recruiting some other coaches to help with the larger numbers and varied ability levels.

Have started a "Family Fun"game on Sundays in Carlisle. It has really caught on. Play all summer until snow is too deep.

Usually have 12-17 adults and 14-20 kids from 3rd to 7th grade. Have kids and adults mixed games and a few kids vs. kids games. And a kids vs. adults game for fun. Really laid back, just touching on flow, guarding a person, etc. We introduce one new easy concept each time. Are talking with gym teachers and cub scouts. (Scouts can earn a belt loop for learning ultimate!)
