Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance

Youth Summer League. This is a great opportunity for kids with limited or no competitive experience playing Ultimate.  Come out and learn the sport with top notch instruction in a safe and fun environment !  Students will be assigned a coach in small groups.  Each participant will get a disc and a t-shirt. Learn throws, catches, cutting, strategy, and the rules.  Lots of scrimmaging.  Everything you need so that you can start playing and having fun.

Who: Students entering grades 5-9.  Registration is not limited to Lexington residents!

When: M / W July 9 - July 25 (with additional rain dates if needed) from 5-7pm.

Where: Grades 5-6 will play at Adams Field and Grades 7-9 will play at Clarke Middle School, both in Lexington. Directions here.

How to Register: Registration is handled through the Lexington Department of Recreation website but is open to residents of any town. Cost is $90 for registration received prior to May 1st.  On the registration page, click on "Summer Camps and Sports Clinics" and then "BUDA Summer Ultimate Frisbee".

More League Notes
Kids should wear cleats and bring water and a snack.  Parents are welcome as spectators.  Please bring your own chair as there are no bleachers.

Competitive Youth Clinics. Intended for competitive students who want to fine tune their game, including those who are on the YCC teams, these clinics will be two hours of intense drills and scrimmaging.  These clinics are free, but you will need to register on our website for insurance reasons.

Competitive Youth Clinics Details

When: Friday, July 29th, 6:30pm - 9pm
Where: Newton North High School turf field in Newton
Who: Competitive students who are under age 19 
How to Register:

1. If you are 18+ you can register yourself and do your own waiver.  If under 18 you will need a parent/guardian to do your waiver with you.
2. Register on the BUDA site with your own email address (do not use a parent's registration if they are already a BUDA member)
3. Go to your Player's Page and click "Get Waiver"
4. Print, sign, and fax the waiver.  If under 18 then you also need a parent/guardian signature on your waiver.
5. On your Player's Page click "sign up for Competitive Youth Clinics".  There is no fee.
