Youth Program

BUDA's Youth Program provides many opportunities for the under-18 aspiring player.  See the FAQ below, or use the links to the left and right for more information about our programs.

High School

BUDA runs a high school league http://www.buda.org/joomla/content/blogcategory/22/452/  with dozens of teams participating from across the state. There is a wide range of boys and girls teams. If your school doesn't have a team yet, you can either try to join a nearby Div2 school or start your own team.

Middle School

While there isn't an official MS league, BUDA does maintain a list of several middle schools which have teams and are looking for competition http://www.buda.org/joomla/content/view/66/223/   As well, there are a couple tournaments each season which you don't want to miss.

Clinics

BUDA offers free clinics to school, after-school, or summer programs. We'll send an instructor out to your school/program to teach the kids how to play the sport, and the instructors how to teach it. It's great fun for everyone, and typically the kids are motivated to start some kind of team, club, or pickup play afterwards. We can come back periodically to help keep your Ultimate dreams alive. This free clinic includes free equipment (discs, cones, rules). Please contact us with your specific request and we'll do what we can.

Elementary School

BUDA's limited budget for our free clinics means that we try to connect with as many students and instructors as possible per session. For this reason, most elementary school clinics are conducted on Field Days when we can connect with multiple grades at once. Please contact us with your specific request and we'll do what we can.

Elite Play

If your aspiring young Ultimate player thinks he or she has what it takes to compete on the national stage, see here http://www.buda.org/joomla/content/view/120/405/   for information on the BUDA sponsored state teams. These teams are quite competitive and tryouts are difficult.

Recreational Play

BUDA runs many adult rec leagues. While these leagues are not closed to under-18 players, each player will need a waiver signed by a parent/guardian and will typically need weekly transportation to game sites. See our seasonal offerings for details.
