Local high schools are gearing up for their spring season and many are in need of coaches. Please consider coaching for a few hours a week; see below for listings.

Someone who could come for 1 or 2 days per week, Mon and Thurs, from 3-5 would help so incredibly much. Volunteers could also help by driving to games and helping with administrative paperwork for both teams. Andover Ultimate is seeking experienced coaches for the high school season for 3 boy's and 2 girl's teams. The Varsity teams compete on a national level annually and the varsity girls came in 2nd place at nationals last year. All teams are training off season and are serious about their game. Coaches are supported by a very active booster organization that takes care of all administrative and scheduling aspects of the season leaving coaches with the sole responsibility of coaching. Also, coaches are paid a competitive stipend for the season based on number of hours coached. We are willing to negotiate schedule and hours. The team was founded last year by senior Meredith Hadley due to increased student interest in Ultimate. After a successful first year of learning and incredible improvement, we're looking to continue developing our skills and becoming more competitive in the upcoming spring season. Holliston High School is seeking a JV coach. No coaching experience is necessary. We are a young but athletic team starting our 3rd year in the high school league (this will be our first year with a JV team). Our Varsity team is very competitive in D2 and would like to move to D1 next year as we build our program. A competitive stipend will be provided. We are a group of enthusiastic and largely athletic kids without much ultimate experience. We've been a really informal club team for the past two years, playing a couple of interscholastic games each year without practice. This year, we hope that our athletic department will allow us to play ultimate as our only sport and enable us to have practice. We're looking for someone to come in once or twice a week, or more if you like, and help us with techniques and such. Working with us would probably entail a bit of contact with the athletic director as well. Hours are very flexible, but pay is unlikely.
