Grand Masters Ultimate is a new division for men who are 40 years old, or women who are 35 years old, as of the end of the calendar year. There is some discussion in the Ultimate community about whether there should be Masters and Grand Masters divisions, or just one. BUDA ran an 8-team Grand Masters division at Easterns (June, 2008) and we are now running a 6-team GM division in the Fall League. In addition, we will run two tournaments this Fall. The first is a tune-up tournament http://www.buda.org/joomla/component/option,com_fabrik/Itemid,754/ on September 21st in Lexington, MA. This tournament is a 5/2 mixed format. If I get enough interest in time then I will make space available for an OPEN division, too. The second GM tournament will be a GM division concurrent with Div2 Masters at Regionals (link available soon) at Devens, MA on October 12th. When you register your team, please indicate whether your team is GM or Div2 Masters, and also indicate whether your team is OPEN or MIXED 5/2. All registered teams will play.
