The BUDA YCC Mixed Team Schedule: Sat-Sun, June 7th - 8th: Tryouts at Mixed Easterns (Boston, MA) - TEAM IS NOT FORMING, 6/14 is the only tryout. If you can't make the 6/14 tryout, you can still make the team. Saturday, June 14th: Tryouts (Groff Park, Amherst, MA) Saturday, June 21st: Practice (Leverett, MA) Sat-Sun, July 19th - 20th: Ow My Knee (Albany, NY) Friday, August 1st: Fly from Boston to Vancouver, Canada Saturday, August 2nd - Thursday, August 7th: Watch Worlds, volunteer at Worlds, practice, scrimmage Friday, August 8th: Fly from Vancouver to Minneapolis Sat-Sun, August 9th - 10th: YCCs Monday, August 11th: Fly to Boston PLEASE NOTE: Both pre-YCC tournament events (OMK and Worlds) are completely OPTIONAL. The non-Worlds player fee will be around $500 and the Worlds player fee will be around $900. The plan for Worlds is to fly from Boston to Vancouver on Friday, August 1st and to stay on the UBC campus directly adjacent to the fields. During the days we would: 1) Watch some of the best Ultimate in the world 2) Scrimmage against ourselves and other teams 3) Volunteer at the event 4) See some of the sights in Vancouver 5) Run daily practices On Friday, August 8th we'll fly from Vancouver to Minneapolis, meet up with the rest of the team, and play in the YCCs on the 9th and 10th. Well all fly home to Boston on Monday, 8/11. Some financial aid will be available.
