Resources for High School Teams

Don’t have a team yet?
The UPA has a helpful guide for starting one at http://www3.upa.org/juniors/newteams/team_index.html

Have a few players, and looking for more?  The BUDA HSUL will now allow “combo” teams of players from different schools.  (See the League Description for more details.)  If you have a group looking for more players, let us know – we’ll be keeping a list, and can put people in touch with each other.

Want to bring Ultimate to your school?  Getting people in your school’s PE classes playing is probably the best recruitment tool you have.  BUDA’s Youth Program has educators who will come in to your school and run clinics for teachers and/or for students to introduce them to Ultimate – free!  And we leave them with free discs to run classes!  So talk to your favorite P.E. teacher and have him or her get in touch with us at yp at buda dot org

Need a coach?  BUDA has a list of several individuals who have expressed an interest in coaching a high school team.  If you are in need of a coach, whether it’s full time or even part-time, let us know.

For answers to any questions on the above, please contact the HSUL director at ckgreenwald at earthlink dot net
